WARNING: TRIGGERING POST ABOUT MASK WEARING! DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED OR OVERLY SENSITIVE TO OPINIONS THAT ARE CONTRARY TO YOUR OWN
Foreword: Believe me, I’ve always been the first person to isolate/quarantine myself if I don’t feel well. If I absolutely have to go anywhere when I’m sick I WILL WEAR A MASK 😷 I even wore a mask all through the pandemic until everyone who wanted the mRNA shot received one… out of respect for those who were afraid. Heck, I was the first person to wear a mask at my local grocery store during the pandemic. So,I’m not anti-mask, I’m pro wear a mask when appropriate, on your own free will. Forcing EVERYONE to do things against their best judgement/intuition seems to be where a lot of trouble has begun throughout human history; let’s NOT repeat our mistakes here. Doctors are losing their medical licenses, peoples' bank accounts are being frozen and those are two recurring themes.
Yesterday I went to a doctor appointment for my eye and respectfully asked my doctor “why are medical facilities still forcing people to wear a mask?” and it almost immediately erupted into an unpleasant mask debate. She’s always been a good and kind doctor, but I guess this issue struck a nerve with her 🤷🏻♂️
Some things in life things just feel wrong and I believe I am the change. If something feels wrong I’m gonna express myself, as respectfully as I can of course. All the heroes in all the stories follow their intuition and I’m no different.
“The problem is, we don’t know when we are sick. We could be transmitting disease 3-5 days before we show symptoms” said my doctor.
“Asymptomatic transmission has been ruled out as extremely rare and NOT the driver of pandemics” I responded. Dr. Fauci even said it himself “asymptomatic transmission of respiratory viruses is extremely rare”, so why do so many doctors, including mine, keep saying “respiratory viruses spread days before symptoms occur”? “Well, you can believe whatever you want” said my doctor “but doctors and scientists say masks work”.
“There are doctors and scientists who disagree with that statement” I responded. I’m sorry, but I know many doctors and scientists disagree with all this masking and it just feels wrong to me too. Most doctors are afraid to speak out as they may lose their medical license like Dr. Peter McCullough did. I am not one to try and instill fear in anyone, but if you haven't heard about this case with Dr Peter McCullough, please inform yourself as this case should scare the Sh#t out of EVERYONE, especially doctors and others in the medical profession

Maybe voicing my opinions on a blog/social media is cringe, futile and dumb, but whatever, I’m letting the world know because maybe somebody else out there needs to hear this from someone else too as it’s starting to feel like the Twighlight Zone at medical facilities. Maybe there are health care workers out there who agree with me, that don’t want to be forced to cover their mouths all day long and they can’t speak out because they’d get in trouble; this post is for you.
My doctor said “it’s not like we’re forcing you to take a drug or something”. I should have told her “well it seems like we were ALL ALMOST forced to take an mRNA shot, but I think enough people stood up and the mandates went away”, but I didn’t want to be too rude or controversial.
I think the narrative should be “we ask that people wear a mask, especially if you’re symptomatic, but we’re certainly not going to force anyone to wear a mask as that may lead to a tyrannical medical system. The last thing we want is to create a situation like North Korea”. If a person is coming to a medical facility for a respiratory illness with symptoms, ask them to wear a mask 🤷🏻♂️
I think the mask has turned into an inverse version of the MAGA hat; wearing a mask means you’re on team blue and the MAGA hat means you’re team red. I’m on Team Invisible , which supports allowing people to do what they think is going to bring positive change WITHOUT forcing everyone else to do the same. EXAMPLE: Righteous vegans lead by example, not by shaming everyone around them to be exactly like them. I’ve never worn a MAGA hat and I do my best NOT to wear a mask 😷 UNLESS I am symptomatic. However, I support people’s right to wear a mask and/or a MAGA hat if that’s what they think will bring about positive change to the world.
As my doctor stormed out of the exam room saying “I’ll order lab tests”, I replied “Thank you! Sorry! I did not mean for this mask debate to get so heated” but my doctor did not even respond. I was then asked by a nurse to exit the exam room and wait in the hall to get my blood drawn. As I waited in the hall way, a nurse I had not yet seen blurted out “Sir, please put your mask on. Everyone else is wearing a mask”.
“Just because everyone else is wearing a mask that doesn’t make it right” I responded calmly. She and I went back and forth a few more times, loud enough for everyone in the building to hear us, but not loud enough to make anyone think there was any kind of danger. Then I said “Fine, I’ll put my mask on, but I’m not sick. I’m just here for an eye issue I’m having. There dos not seem to be a clear exit strategy on mask wearing in medical facilities andI think it’s awful suspicious”. I then put on my N95 mask that I wrote “THIS IS NOT THE SOLUTION” on. I had told my doctor that her surgical mask and all the cloth masks were just innefective against viral transmission and that only N95 masks seem to make any difference BUT according to OSHA and others in the know, it is not advisable to wear an N95 mask for more than 30 minutes at a time. That just pissed her off more.
I really wonder what the exit strategy is going to be on masks in medical facilities? I have not heard any exit strategy and that makes people like myself very suspicious. If there was a public service announcement stating "we will take away masking in medical facilities when this goal is met" I might be more inclined to go along with all this. Just like I may have been more inclined to get an mRNA injection if our "leaders" said something like "we recommend people take this mRNA injection, but we don't want to force or shame anyone who is skeptical, into complying with any kind of mandates". I think leaders need to always provide clear exits for people before trying to corral them into any enclosures. People like me always need an emergency exit plan to feel comfortable in any situation.
Anyways, I’m sure I’ll get “unfriended” some more on social media for this post, but that’s the way it goes. I hope we can be “friends” again someday after all this is over. For all of you who share my feelings, stay strong and stand up when you can as I’m convinced no one can save us from this impending tyranny except ourselves.
For those who want to say stuff like “just because you don’t want to stop at a stop sign 🛑 or go the speed limit…or shoplift” this not the same. We’ve lived our entire lives and our ancestors our entire human history without being forced masked. The case we are living through is more like we had access to a free source of water at the center of town, but then the well was poised one day so the authorities blocked access to the well until the poison was gone. The poison went away, but the authorities are no longer allowing us free access to the well anymore because they say someone else might poison the well again, meanwhile many of us are straining our relationships and wasting resources traveling to far away wells. It is only now that we are being asked to go against our intuition and fall in line with “the new normal”. Let’s get back to the OLD normal please and stop this crazy game ✋
